Junior Soccer Term 4, 2019 FAQs

Where can I find my game time?

Game times can be found here for each week here: https://www.brisbanecityindoorsports.com.au/game-times/newmarket-juniors/saturday-juniors-sports or by typing the full team name into the search box. With over 200 teams in the competition, changing game times is rarely possible and we cannot always guarantee specific game time requests. The first week’s game times will be sent via text to managers and by email to the rest of the team.  Every week thereafter, you can access your game time for the following week via our website.

Which court do I play on?

The website will show which court your game is scheduled for, but please always check the screens in the foyer when you arrive in case we have had to adjust any games.

What do we need to wear?

General sports attire is fine. Footwear must be enclosed - boots with studs / cleats are not permitted. Team uniforms are not compulsory, though we recommend teams wear matching colours. We provide bibs in case there is a clash of colours between teams.Shin pads are not compulsory, but we do recommend them.

How much is Indoor soccer and how do we pay?

The weekly game fee is $10 per child. Each child must also pay a one-off fee of $5 in their first game for player insurance. Team managers should collect the game fees from each player and make a single payment of the total fees at the game counter. Cash or EFTPOS, or a combination of the two, is fine.

How do I register new players?

All players must be registered to play in the competition. If you have additional players to add after you have sent through the team list before the season, then they can be added at the check in terminal. Please ask for assistance if you are unsure.

What important dates do we need to know?

The first round of fixtures is Saturday 12th October 2019 Semi Finals will be Saturday 30th November 2019Grand finals will be Saturday7th December 2019 Presentation /Parents vs. Kids games are on Saturday 14th December2019

How do finals work?

There will be finals for every age group and Division.  The top 4 teams in each division will qualify for the semi-finals (1st vs.  4th and 2nd vs. 3rd), and the winners of the semi-finals will then go on to play the GrandFinal.  Teams who did not make finals will still have games to play both weeks.

What if we can’t make a game?

If your team is unable to make a scheduled game, please give us as much notice as possible. If you know ahead of time that there is a date that you are unavailable to play, please notify staff as soon as possible so we can make sure you’re not scheduled for a game that week.
